SHAVING CREAM EGG DYE – Easy and Inexpensive

1. Spread cheap white shaving cream in a cookie sheet
2. Apply drops of neon food coloring across surface
3. Use toothpicks to swirl colors around
4. Roll the dried, cooled hardboiled eggs in the colorful cream (we used disposable kitchen gloves to reduce the tattoo effect)
5. Allow to set for 3-4 minutes on a paper plate
6. Wipe off shaving cream with paper toweling
7. Rinse! Voila! Beautiful marbleized eggs, done quickly!

Thanks for the easy-to-do egg coloring method. I am going to share this info with my daughter-in-law to try with my 1-1/2 year old grandson. This will definitely be less of a clean-up than with coloring eggs using the old method – and end up with stained floors, walls, table, hands & clothes, etc., etc. :)

    Thanks for the share!!

  3. wow. love this idea. thanks for sharing

This looks so cool! I’m Jewish but I think I still may try this with my non-Jewish family! :)
